Lena the Zoroaceon (main Sona)

Lena was born as an Eevee in the Eterna Forest to a Leafeon and a Luxray. They always loved swimming and being in the water, and always knew they were going to choose to evolve into Vaporeon!!

Unfortunately, what they thought was a water stone that they so lovingly tied around their neck... turned out to be a shard of Ice Rock instead. After patiently waiting for evolution, they ended up evolving into a Glaceon.
But it's okay! They didn't mind, just because they didn't become what they were expecting, that didn't mean they couldn't be happy with the person they ended up as!

Now that they had evolved and were strong enough to travel in their own, they answered the call of adventure and became an explorer! They travelled across many regions, befriending many different Pokémon and humans, solving problems, and finding treasure!
^{(Too many adventures for me to comfortably list in a general description Carrd tbh.)}The Zoroark incident happened when they came across a Zoroark Soul Pearl while exploring Lostlorn Forest. Not realizing what it was, Lena picked it up, delighted by this pretty treasure and curious about its properties...
and was cursed by the Zoroark to whom the Soul Pearl belonged to.

For a while, Lena had no idea they had been cursed. They had fallen unconscious when the curse took effect and transformed them, and upon waking, instinctively put up the illusion of their usual Glaceon form.
It was only when their illusion was broken in combat that they realized they were no longer what they thought they were.

Fortunately, enough time has passed since then, and now they are once again happy with who they are!In their day-to-day life, they keep up their Glaceon form through an illusion, as it is how they are most comfortable being perceived. Their Zoroark form is only used when they are particularly relaxed.
